We Are Defiance is a six-piece screamo band from Florida formed in 2009.
This debut album was produced in 2011 with former A Day To Remember guitarist Tom Denney as producer.

Brian Calzini, formerly of Sleeping With Sirens, delivers intense and stylish screams over the aggressive music.
In contrast, the chorus features a melancholy, tearful melody sung by the drums in a style reminiscent of Confide and Underoath.

The ninth track features guest appearance by Telle "Tyler" Smith of THE WORD ALIVE.
